Sugar Cosmetics India opens 100th brand store

Sugar Cosmetics has opened its 100th brand-owned store at VR Chennai Anna Nagar. Building on the brand’s core mission of expanding distribution, Sugar Cosmetics has continued to invest in physical stores since its first store in early 2019 and now reaches its 100th store in less than 3.5 years.

The brand has consistently seen phenomenal retail store count growth of more than 50% over the past year and has diversified its overall product line to nearly 550 SKUs.

Sugar Cosmetics started as a D2C brand in 2015 which quickly ventured into offline commerce in 2017. The brand has grown from over 2,500 outlets in 2020 to over 35,000 touchpoints in over 500 cities to date. While many brands have canceled store opening plans and even closed existing ones since the pandemic began, Sugar Cosmetics has launched over 60 stores since March 2020, keeping hygiene and safety a top priority. for their retail customers. Among these new launches, Sugar has ventured into key metropolitan cities with more than 15 stores in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Jalandhar, Nagpur, etc.
