Sports betting company FanDuel launches liner TV and OTT networks

Sportsbook company FanDuel Group has announced the launch of a new linear TV network and a standalone OTT platform.

FanDuel TV and FanDuel+ will go live in September, with the company claiming it’s the first linear/digital network dedicated to sports betting content.

FanDuel TV will be distributed on linear television by cable and satellite distributors including Comcast Xfinity, Spectrum, Verizon FIOS, DirectTV, DISH, Cox Communications, FuboTV, YouTubeTV and Hulu. It replaces the TVG Network horse racing channel. FanDuel+, which is available free of charge to existing FanDuel customers with accounts on any of its sportsbook, casino, horse racing or daily fantasy platforms, will be available on DTC OTT platforms, including Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire.

Horse racing will continue to be a core part of FanDuel TV’s content offering, while the broadcaster will also broadcast over 3,000 hours of live sports, including international basketball league action from the Australian National Basketball League (NBL) professional league, the Chinese Basketball League. , as well as the French and German professional leagues.

Additionally, well-known experts such as Kay Adams, Pat McAfee and Lisa Kerney will all host programs to keep sports fans up to date with the latest happenings.
