Shandong has hired 19 international trade and investment advisers

The 19 advisers had submitted advisory opinion reports ahead of the conference, according to the Shandong Sub-Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. During the meeting, Alexander Kalinin, chairman of the All-Russian non-governmental organization of small and medium-sized enterprises “OPORA RUSSIA“, jim mcdonaldPrincipal and Vice-Chancellor of University of StrathclydePresident of the Royal Academy of Engineering, UK, Hiroshi OnomuraExecutive Vice President, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Antoine SimonetDirector of Supply Chain at Hewlett-Packard, Lim Gait TongChairman and CEO of Farlim Group (Malaysia) and Chairman of the China-ASEAN Business Association, Yoon Doson, CEO of CJ China, Li TaoVice President, Head of Government and Public Affairs, Philips Greater China, and Gu WeiHead of Continental BU CVS China, Vice President of Continental BA VNI China, gave keynote speeches.

The 19 advisers made dozens of targeted suggestions on topics such as strengthening economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges between shandong and Japan, South Korea, Russiaand ASEAN, the transformation of from shandong manufacturing sector, green and low-carbon development, and further optimization of the business environment. They were very optimistic about from shandong investment development opportunities and prospects. They all expressed their willingness to deploy their own resource advantages to actively make suggestions and vigorously contribute to cooperation.

Zhou Naixiang said that the establishment of the International Trade and Investment Advisory Council Conference for Shandong Province is an important initiative for shandong to gain global wisdom and experience, improve scientific decision-making capabilities, promote high-level openness to the outside world, better provide services, and introduce new development models. He thanked the advisers for their inspiring speeches and suggestions and requested the various government authorities to seriously study and absorb these suggestions. He said he hoped councilors would continue to care about and support the development of shandong.
