Our flagship company, Saro Agrosciences, was born out of a desire to satisfy underserved customers in the crop protection industry, particularly with the departure of multinationals due to an unfavorable economic environment in 1991. Duties / Responsibilities
Road to market:
The RDL will develop the route to market as dictated by the marketing strategy that is effective and designed to deliver value to the target audience and capture value effectively.
The RDL will break down the targets by region based on the possibility of achieving the set goal
Team leadership and coordination:
The RDL will be responsible for setting call targets and call goals for Saro Digital Agents, as well as their day-to-day coordination and daily review.
The RDL will be in direct contact with subscribers and cluster leaders for engagement and rapid issue resolution.
The RDL sets goals for agents (weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly goals)
The RDL will ensure that all platforms operate seamlessly and provide the right experience for farmers.
He/she will be responsible for KYC and farmer categorization after onboarding.
He/She will be responsible for the consistency of the value proposition and delivery across different channels to be uniform across different channels.
The RDL will work in sync with the Marketplace Manager on input purchasing, delivery, output collection and general pricing management to drive competitiveness
The RDL will promote compliance in terms of customer onboarding, trade terms, credit compliance, input usage compliance and pricing compliance by putting in place a risk framework to manage the risks of credits to operations management that will ensure that value is not lost.
The RDL will be responsible for customer/subscription growth on the digital app by increasing the share of customer business conducted on the app, geographic expansion and customer growth in line with the business objective .
He/She will perform other duties as assigned by Group Marketing Officers and SAI MD and SAI Board of Directors
He/She will ensure that performance management in the department is done on a rolling basis.
The RDL will be responsible for the management of the Saro brand in the company
He/She will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the department.
Education and experience
Degree (upper 2nd class) from a relevant degree program, MBA will be an advantage
A minimum of 5 years in a sales management or trade marketing position
Experience in the digital market will be an advantage
Good knowledge and use of Microsoft Office packages and ERP systems (knowledge of Navision and SharePoint will be an added advantage).
Age required: 32 to 45 years old.
