Cardrona Distillery announces its first cocktail composition – Drinks International

Bartenders are invited to create a signature cocktail with the Cardrona Distillery product of their choice, highlighting the unique nature of the spirit.

Cardrona’s spirits include Reid Single Malt Vodka, The Source Pure Cardrona Gin, Rose Rabbit Liqueurs (Orange, Elderflower and Butterscotch) and The Cardrona Single Malt Whiskey.

Twelve bartenders from 10 regional finals held across the UK and New Zealand will be selected to compete in the Grand Final in Cardrona, New Zealand in September 2022.

In the first round of the competition, bartenders are invited to apply via an entry form and post a photo of their cocktail on social media, using the hashtag #CardronaComp. The bar the bartender works at must stock Cardrona’s spirits to qualify.

Twelve bartenders per region (24 in London) will then be chosen in the second round to compete in the regional final, before six bartenders from the UK and six from New Zealand are selected to compete for the Cardrona Trophy at the Grand Final in New Zealand in the third round.

The entry form and more information on the qualification criteria can be found here. Contest entry closes March 31, 2022.
